Easy Skillet Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients: For the filling ●       4.5 cups blackberries (frozen can be used) ●       ½ cup sugar ●       2 ½ tbsp lemon juice ●       1 tsp vanilla extract ●       ¼ tsp salt For the crumble topping ●       1 cup all-purpose flour ●       ½ cup sugar ●       1 stick (½ cup) softened unsalted butter ●       ½ tsp salt ●       ½ tsp ground cinnamon   Instructions: 1.      Preheat the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. 2.      In a large bowl, mix together blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt. 3.      In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon. 4.      Use a fork to cut in the butter with the flour mixture until it resembles a crumble. 5.      Add the blackberry mixture to a 10 in. cast iron skillet. 6.      Evenly spread the crumble topping over the blackberry mixture. 7.      Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the crumble topping is lightly browned. If you are using frozen blackberries, it will take a bit longer (45-50 min.). 8.      Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.   ***Optional: This blackberry crumble is delicious served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. ***Tip: This blackberry crumble can be stored at room temperature for 2-3 days after making.
