Cast Iron skillet Spicy Sausage Queso

Ingredients:

● 1 lb. spicy breakfast sausage

● 1 can rotel tomatoes with green chilies (drained)

● 2 lbs. Cubed 2% velveeta cheese

● 1 can cream of mushroom soup

● 4 ounces of cubed cream cheese

● ½ cup diced pickled jalapenos

● 2 cups shredded cheese of your choice


Instructions:

1. Brown the spicy breakfast sausage and drain.

2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

3. Place all ingredients in a 12 inch cast iron skillet beside each other without mixing.

4. Bake for 45-50 minutes, stirring after the first 10 minutes, then twice more during the cooking process.

5. Serve immediately with some chips and enjoy!



***Tip: When reheating, add a touch of milk to thin the queso!

***Tip: This recipe is also made in the crockpot by cooking on low 2-3 hours.
